Casa Verri – Testimonials

“I was very fortunate to have visited and stayed at Trudy and Lorenzo’s beautiful apartment in Citta della Pieve, Umbria.  This two bedroom apartment is beautifully decorated in a style that brings out the true character of the place. The interior is full of hand picked, eclectic pieces from all over the world…and the most beautiful chandeliers.  Sitting on the ‘terrazza’, looking out over the beautiful countryside, makes everything just perfect!  Absolutely delightful!!

Loads of restaurants are on your doorstep and the village has a lovely ‘warm feel’ to it, with greetings from all the locals and tastings of all the local produce. The town, Chuisi is only a 15 minute drive by car and from there, you are connected by rail to all the major cities in Italy! You will have a most amazing experience staying here!”

“Coming back to your beautiful cosy welcoming house in CDP is like coming home to my Italian dream.  The bedrooms are personal and welcoming, the bathroom glamorous, the kitchen area is my favorite part of the house although it is hard to beat sitting in the logia with a glass of wine and enjoying the view. Everything you could need is on hand to cook a great meal from local produce or if not the selection of restaurants in town is excellent, especially after the prices one pays in Florence or Rome.   My family now feel as though it is óur ‘town.  I’ll be back at least twice more with my remaining two other   married sons over the next few years as it is such an ideal holiday to spend with another couple.”

“We felt almost like locals as we stayed in the gorgeous CDP apartment. It was very comfortable and spacious accommodation, with a welcoming feel about it. With the glorious view from the logia this is where we chose to spend most of our time – from breakfast, cups of tea with the local apricots and biscotti, lunches (when we weren’t off exploring the town and surrounds) and of course – our favourite time – late afternoon and evening with a drink whilst we enjoyed the sun going down on the distant hills.  CDP was full of so many interesting nooks and crannies and cafes and bars and alleyways to explore – such a pretty town from both a distance (with its ancient walls) and from within. Look forward to returning one day!”
